Car Events in Ireland 2026 | Complete Schedule
Ireland’s car scene has an energy that feels entirely its own. The drift culture is world-class and deeply rooted, the JDM community is passionate beyond what the country’s size would suggest, and the classic car circuit draws crowds that rival events in countries five times larger. Four events for 2026, and every one of them is worth the trip.
Dubshed | 11 April
Ireland’s premier modified car show takes over the Eikon Centre in Lisburn, just south of Belfast. Dubshed started as a VW and Audi gathering, but it has broadened over the years to welcome all marques, and the indoor venue means the weather is irrelevant. Drift taxi rides, club stands, traders, and some genuinely impressive builds across multiple halls. If you want a snapshot of the modified car scene on the island of Ireland, this is the single best place to find it.
Japfest Mondello Park | 25 April
The biggest Japanese car culture event in Ireland, and it has earned that title honestly. Over 500 JDM machines fill Mondello Park in County Kildare, from pristine stock examples of cars that are becoming genuinely collectible to wild custom builds that have clearly consumed several years of someone’s life. The Irish Drift Series Pro2 round runs alongside it on Saturday, which gives the weekend a motorsport backbone that pure static shows lack. The atmosphere sits somewhere between a car show and a festival, and the community that turns up is knowledgeable and welcoming in equal measure.
Drift Masters Ireland | 13 June
Round 3 of the Drift Masters European Championship comes to Mondello Park, and the Irish crowd makes this one of the standout rounds on the calendar. Ireland has produced some of the best drift drivers in the world, and watching them compete at home, with a grandstand full of people who understand exactly what they are seeing, creates an atmosphere that is hard to replicate elsewhere. Mondello’s layout rewards commitment through tight transitions, and the entries into the first corner tend to be the kind that make you hold your breath for a moment longer than feels comfortable.
Bohernabreena Classic Car Show | 14 June
Over 550 classic cars gather in the Dublin Mountains at Bohernabreena for Ireland’s largest classic car show and fair. The setting is lovely, the entry is broad enough to include everything from pre-war machinery to 1990s icons, and the 10,000-plus visitors give it a genuine buzz without making it feel overcrowded. The combination of a Sunday in June, the Dublin Mountains, and five hundred carefully maintained classics is about as pleasant a way to spend a day as the Irish car calendar offers.
