Corsa ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Corsa mobile application ("App") and our website at getcorsa.app ("Website").

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address for authentication and personalization.
• Preferences: Your selected countries, event categories, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device and synced with your account.
• Location data: When you grant permission, we access your device location to show nearby events on the map. Location data is not stored on our servers and is only used in real time within the App.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics about how you interact with the App (screens visited, features used) to improve the service.
• Saved events: Events you save to your calendar are stored in association with your account.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the service, including event discovery and personalization
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Show events relevant to your location and preferences
• Send notifications about events you may be interested in (when enabled)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Corsa:

• Cloudflare: Our API and website are hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare may process certain request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Better Auth: We use Better Auth for secure authentication. Your email and name are processed through this service to manage sign-in and account sessions.
• Apple (App Store): If you download the App from the App Store, Apple may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Sensitive information such as authentication tokens is stored on your device using encrypted secure storage. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
